This hotel is within five miles of Stowe Mountain, Mount Mansfield, Spruce Peak, Smuggler’s Notch State Park, and the Green Mountains. All the amenities of Stowe village are within four miles of the hotel. Little River State Park is 19 miles away.
The hotel expanded its health spa to 38,000 square feet; it includes a sauna, spa tubs, 48 treatment rooms, and juice bars. Guests can choose from a menu of 120 treatments including facials and massage. Medi-spa services are also available.
Tennis lessons for both adults and children can be taken at the on-site Tennis Academy. Guests can also swim in the heated indoor lap pool or either of two outdoor pools, or work out in the fitness center.
Meeting and conference space are available. Complimentary tea and cookies are served each afternoon in the living room.

The accommodations at the three-story Topnotch Resort and Spa were renovated in June 2005 with Vermont-style appeal. Most rooms provide pillowtop mattresses and down comforters.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary and available in most accommodations; cable TV with pay movies, and voice mail are provided. Wake-up calls are available on request.
Other amenities include coffeemakers, hair dryers, and irons and ironing boards. Pets are welcome in the hotel section of the resort (surcharge). Pets and smoking are not allowed in Overlook units.
